Elementary School

This is a full ice hockey program that is open to all elementary school students within the Springfield, Delaware County school district. We focus on player development, while creating a fun, competitive team environment. Elementary teams play in the Delco School Hockey League at Ice Works in Aston, Pa.

*It is recommended that all players complete at least a year of a Learn to Play program prior to enrolling in our elementary program.**

Ages

Appropriate players have completed at least one year of Learn-to-Play and are in K-4th grade.

When

Season begins with evaluations in September and runs until playoffs in March/April.

Where

Practices are held at the Springfield Ice Rink. Games are held at Ice Works in Aston, PA.

Practices

Teams practice once per week (Wednesday, Friday or Saturday), rotating days on a monthly basis.

Games

Teams will play in 14 regular season games plus playoffs over the course of the season. Games are typically played on Sundays during the regular season in the late afternoon/evenings. An occasional weekday game may be added as needed.

Uniforms

Blue and White Game Day Jerseys.

Team Socks.

Yellow practice jersey. (OPTIONAL).

Extra Costs

Uniforms are not included in the price of tuition and are a required additional cost.

This registration is for all ice hockey players that are in grades kindergarten through fourth grade that live in the Springfield, Delaware County school district. The cost for the elementary school division is $850.00. You will need your current USA Hockey number to complete registration.

**All New players must upload a copy of their birth certificate in order to be verified by the district.
