Middle School
Our Middle School program is open to all players residing in the Springfield school district in grades 5th-8th. This is a non-check program that focuses on player growth and development, while providing a fun and competitive atmosphere. Teams play in the ILMSL league run out of Ice Line in West Chester. Player evaluations take please in the beginning of the season, and all players will be placed on a team based on their skill level.
Ages
Appropriate players should have some ice hockey experience and be proficient in skating.
When
Season begins with evaluations in September and runs until playoffs in March/April.
Where
Practices are held at the Springfield Ice Rink. Games are typically played at Ice Works in Aston or Ice Line in West Chester.
Practices
Teams practice once per week (Wednesday, Friday or Saturday), rotating days on a monthly basis.
Games
Teams will play 14 regular season games plus playoffs. Games are typically played on Sunday afternoon/evenings with an occasional game during the week. Teams may possibly have to travel to alt rinks including PNY, Campus, Oaks and Hatfield.
Uniforms
Blue and White Game Day Jersey.
Team socks.
Yellow practice jersey. (OPTIONAL)
Extra Costs
Uniforms are not included in the price of tuition and are a required additional cost.
